CARLOS GOMEZ
HEAD INSTRUCTOR | 2ND DEGREE BLACK BELT
Brazilian Jiu-JItsu Professor based out of Downtown Los Angeles with over 20 years of experience. Carlos has learned from the Gracie family at their headquarters in Torrance, California also known as the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. In 2016, Carlos was awarded the rank of Black Belt from Professor Gerson Sanginitto (Delta Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) in Culver City, California. Carlos is also the Founder and Chief Instructional Officer of LEAD TACTICS where he focuses on defensive tactics for Law Enforcement.
Carlos has competed in numerous submission grappling tournaments which include the IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championships GI/ NOGI, Pan American Championships, Metamoris, Metamoris Challenger, Gracie U.S Nationals GI/NOGI and several in-house invitationals super fights including the UFC GYM BJJ challenge.
