Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Professor and Personal Fitness trainer based in the heart of Los Angeles. With over a decade of experience, Carlos has had the privilege of learning Gracie Jiu-jitsu from the headquarters in Torrance, California, known as the Gracie Academy under the instruction of Rener, Ryron, Ralek and Rorion Gracie. In 2016 Carlos was awarded his Black belt from Professor Gerson Sanginitto and continues to grow as a professional Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competitor at Gerson Sanginitto Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

On his fitness journey, he's competed in numerous Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournaments, which include the 2017 IBJJF No-Gi Worlds, Pam Am Champioships, UFC Gym BJJ black belt super challenge 2016, Metamoris 2015 and 2017, the prestigious IBJJF World Jiu-jitsu Championships (nogi,) Gracie U.S Nationals (GI and Nogi) and several in-house invitational tournaments, Super Fights in both his weight and open wight (Absolute.) Born and raised in southern California, Carlos has also participated in several outdoor challenges including an 85 mile cycling challenge, several 5 & 10k's and the Los Angeles Marathon (26.2 miles.) Some of his main focuses are Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, weight training and conditioning for athletes. He promotes well rounded athleticism.
