Founded in 2010 in Los Angeles, California, Professor Carlos Gomez has focused on both Self-Defense and Competition style Jiu-Jitsu. From general practitioners, to hobbyists, to building World Champions from the ground up, Gomez Jiu-Jitsu is a great place to begin, or continue your journey.

At Gomez Jiu-Jitsu Academy, our kids program combines fun, structured training with practical self-defense skills. Through age-appropriate instruction, children develop coordination, focus, discipline, and respect while learning to work with others and overcome challenges.

Whether your child is shy or full of energy, we help them build confidence and resilience on and off the mats.

Accelerate your game with the best grappling dummy on the market. The BJJ9000 grappling dummy can be used to drill and keep your technique sharp.

FOOT CLEANING STATION

Good hygiene is our #1 priority and to ensure that we keep the germs off the mat we use the Defense Foot Cleaning Station which is made with essential oils.

PARKING

There is plenty of metered parking surrounding our building. Free before 8AM and after 6PM. In addition, there are several parking lots in our area that offer all day parking if you plan on staying longer.

Private changing room for members.
